Flu Shots: Just Say No!

Once again flu season is approaching and pharmaceutical companies are unfurling their propaganda campaigns to convince us all to get the flu shot. I just shake my head in wonder thinking why would anyone get a flu shot if they knew the following.
Flu shots can have serious side effects, such as the paralytic Guillain-Barre syndrome.1 Other flu shot side effects are numerous, including seizures and anaphylaxis.

“Influenza vaccination shows no appreciable effect on working days lost or hospitalizations”.1

Flu nasal spray immunization doesn’t work. Since 2003, FluMist nasal spray has been the preferred flu immunization method for one-third of the U.S. pediatric population. In June 2016 the CDC reached the conclusion that it doesn’t work, and recommended that it not be used.

According to multiple reports spanning 45 years the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that:

Flu shots don’t effectively reduce excess mortality due to influenza.1
Flu shots don’t reduce the frequency of flu occurring.1
“Influenza control [via flu shots] had been “generally ineffective”.1
Flu shots failed 90% of the time during the 2004-2005 flu season.6

Flu shot safety concerns are insufficiently addressed. While vaccine makers make various claims regarding safety, they do not account for safety concerns of vaccine additives such as thimerosal (ethylmercury), squalene, formaldehyde, oxtocinol [octoxynol 9] a detergent used as a spermatocide3, aluminum4 and Beta-Propiolactone used for sterilization.5

Flu vaccine makers acknowledge there is no rationale for using their products. The 2013-2014 flu virus immunization package insert for the commonly prescribed Flulaval flu vaccine plainly states that, “…there have been no controlled trials adequately demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with FLULAVAL.”4

In summary of this brief flu vaccine overview, it is my opinion that with over 80 years of use and huge public monetary and health investments, the safety, economic and health benefits of annual flu immunizations have yet to be proven.
